These mountain boots excel at long approaches, glacial hiking, French technique and waterfall ice. They combine the optimum blend of stiffness, trail flex and ankle mobility for less fatigue in all climbing modes. Built from 3mm Idro Perwanger Silicon impregnated leather uppers - comfortably padded and lined (Gore-Tex Duratherm for LHOTSE, Dri-Lex for EIGER) for waterproofness, wicking and extra warmth. Roomy toe box is surrounded by a tall XSV sticky rubber rand that extends to the rear for low maintenance and high friction. SBR Aircushion midsole smoothes out the bumps and high traction MPE outsole resists clogging and accepts step-in crampons. Delivered anywhere in North America.
